At noon we drove further to the capital of Queensland, to Brisbane. Brisbane is the third largest city of australia. The harbour is one of the largest centre of trade of this continent. We started our sightseeing tour at the central Kings George Square, then further the Ann Street to the Central Station. Opposite we saw the Anzac Place and the monument "Shrine of Rememberance", which honours the dead soldiers of the World War I. We finished this day by a visit of the botanic garden.
Before we continued our trip to the south, we drove to the "Lone pine Koala Park" beyond the city. The famous park accommodates over 100 of the lovely animals and give us occasion for "koala cuddling".
Further there was a giant enclosure where we could experience the kangaroohs very close.
