Table Cape at the north coast of Tasmania.

At a headland to north lies "Stanley" in front of "The Nut", a rock massif 12th million year old.

The Nut

A chairlift and a steep footpath leading to the top of the mountain.

A varied journey takes us along narrow roads through the mountainous and in many areas by intensive farming to "Launceston".

A Jungle walk before we reach "Launcheston".

The deeply incised canyon "Cataract Gorge" (15 minutes' walk from Launceston center) is the result of earthquakes that shook Tasmania 40 million years ago.
