Today here goes. At 5a.m. the bridge opens between Basse-Terre and Grand-Terre. We sail north to Antigua. 60 miles are before us.
After 3 hours you see the outline of Antigua. It will last 5 hours more until we are reaching the "English Harbour" of Antigua.
Next day we go by bus to the capital of Antigua Saint Johns (About 25.000 inhabitants). Saint Johns is situated at the north-west coast of Antigua and has the most important harbour of the east-caribbean isles.
Toward the evening we stroll to the viewpoint "Shirley Hights". It is at the peak of a hill situated at the bay. During sunset we enjoy a fantastic sight to the bay of English Harbour.
